The Southern River Band Headline Caltowie Chilled Out 'n' Fired Up Music Festival 2027

Caltowie Chilled Out 'n' Fired Up Music Festival (COFU) returns for another huge day of live music in 2027, with an awesome lineup featuring the first-ever international act.

Set in the heart of South Australia's Mid North, COFU brings live music to the small town of Caltowie on Saturday 20 March, with next year's festival headlined by WA pub rockers The Southern River Band.

Known for their heavy riffs and authentic take on classic '80s rock, the lads are bringing the heat to COFU alongside the festival's first international guest, The Inspector Cluzo. The French farming duo have played more than 1,300 gigs across 67 countries, winning over audiences with their blues rock sound.

After wowing punters this year, 19-Twenty return to the COFU stage in 2027 with their high-energy blend of blues, roots and rock.

Joining this powerhouse lineup are local acts Funk Me, Rat Tamango, Loose Change, Sugar Tongue, Caressa, Opia Blue and The Sleepers.

Since the inaugural Caltowie Chilled Up and Fired Up Music Festival was held in 2019 as a way to raise funds for mental health initiatives, the festival has transformed into one of regional SA's most anticipated events.

Along with all the awesome lineup of music on offer, you'll find a great selection of food trucks at the family-friendly festival, along with several bars serving beer, wine, cocktails, spirits and softies for those driving or taking it easy.

Just two and a half hours from Adelaide, Caltowie is a pleasant drive through SA countryside, with punters encouraged to pitch a tent and spend the night under the stars.

Whether you’re there for the big riffs, infectious grooves, the chance to discover your next favourite band or simply to soak up a bloody good day of live music, COFU 2027 promises something for every music lover.
