Brunswick Music Festival Reveals 2026 Program
The annual Melbourne festival returns with another ripping lineup.

Brunswick Music Festival returns for its 38th year from 1-8 March 2026.
One of Melbourne's longest-running community festivals, Brunswick Music Festival is produced by Merri-bek City Council and curated by local legend MzRizk.
Running the first week of March, the festival kicks off with the celebrated Sydney Road Street Party on Sunday 1 March. Comprising four stages, from surf-punk to South African jazz, Turkish classical to youth Pasifika harmonies, the roving street party will include pop-up acoustic sets and Sydney Road venues opening their doors throughout the day.
This year’s program features a host of events and performances, headlined by a collaboration with Crown Ruler and Research Records, pairing Alfi Antico & Go Dugong with Khaled Kurbeh and RAFET at Brunswick Ballroom.
Producer and DJ Rita Bass crafts the multi-sensory journey Eternity is a Terrible Thought, presented by Dreamache, while a host of international acts are also performing, including iconic hip hop beatmaster DJ Krush (Japan), the Xylourides siblings straight out of Crete, French disco icon François K and Indian American singer, songwriter and musician Ganavya.
Brunswick music venues, including Brunswick Ballroom, Howler, The Retreat, Jazzlab, The Bergy, Bar Spontana, Co Conspirators and more, will host musicians and events throughout the week, with a massive closing party taking place at Gilpin Park on Sunday 8 March, featuring Fred Leone X Radio For Ghosts, Allysha Joy, Cool Out Sun, Jace Clayton and Pirritu.

Merri-bek City Council Mayor Nat Abboud said the Brunswick Music Festival is a powerful celebration of the creativity, diversity and community spirit that defines Merri-bek.
