Bodyjar are hitting the road on The How It Still Works Tour, checking the machine in for the band’s 25-year scheduled service this July.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, Bodyjar wrote: “The rig is roadworthy. Cam has personally undergone a full grease and oil change. Nick has changed his o-ring, whatever that is. Tommy has invested in a new set of strings for the occasion. Wakker has lubed up the drum kit, which is weird, but whatever you need to do, Shane. The vehicle is serviced and ready to put some mileage on the already clocked odometer.”
Bodyjar’s tour includes support from Not Dollar Short (New South Wales and Queensland) and The Decline (Western Australia), with more acts to be announced for the South Australia and Victoria dates.
The How It Still Works Tour kicks off with three shows in NSW at Newcastle’s King St Bandroom on Thursday 9 July, Sydney’s Crowbar on Friday 10 July and Wollongong’s Waves on Saturday 11 July. Three dates follow in Queensland at Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta on Thursday 16 July, Brisbane’s Crowbar on Friday 17 July and Kings Beach’s Kings Beach Tavern on Saturday 18 July, before the group hits Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Thursday 23 July.
