Rising Sydney heavy rockers Bloom have announced a national tour ahead of the release of their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, The Light We Chase, which arrives this Friday 31 October via Pure Noise Records (pre-order here).
The album follows the band’s 2024 debut record Maybe In Another Life, with press material calling the release “a multi-faceted and matured collection of songs… that straddles shoegaze, grunge and dreampop, bone-rattling heaviness and lashings of authentic emotion.”
The Light We Chase is also the group’s first release to feature guest vocalists, with Movements' Patrick Miranda, Yours Truly's Mikaila Delgado and Void Of Vision's Jack Bergin all appearing.
Bloom’s 2026 tour in support of the album sees them playing eight dates with support from American rockers Avoid.

Produced by Christopher Vernon (Better Half, Belle Haven, Future Static), the album received glowing reviews, with Hysteria Mag calling it “a dynamic debut album” and Wall of Sound awarding Maybe in Another Life ten out of ten.
