Having only just toured Australia earlier this year, nu metal greats Hed PE are coming back in 2026 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their landmark album Broke.
Featuring fan favourites ‘Bartender’, ‘Killing Time’ and ‘Feel Good’, the album is regarded as a nu metal classic. Praised by critics and selling over 450,000 copies worldwide, Broke also includes special appearances from Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and Morgan Lander (Kittie).
Fans who head along to Hed PE’s upcoming tour can expect to hear all the biggest tracks from Broke alongside cuts from the band’s 17 album career that spans almost 30 years.
Joining Hed PE on tour are fellow heavy act Nonpoint, who return down under for the first time since 2019.
Hed PE’s whirlwind Still Broke Australian tour takes in Sydney’s Manning Bar on Friday 6 February, Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Saturday 7 February, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Sunday 8 February, Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Tuesday 10 February and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Wednesday 11 February.
Pre-sale commences on Friday 24 October at 9:00am AEDT, with general on-sale taking place on Monday 27 October at 9:00am AEDT. For full ticketing details, head to octoberpresents.com.
Merging hip hop, rock, punk and soul into a mesmerising concoction that helped pioneer the early nu metal scene, Hed PE are veterans of the genre.
The band has gone through numerous lineup changes since coming together in 1994, with the current iteration of Hed PE comprising original member and vocalist Jared “M.C.U.D.” Gomes alongside guitarist Nathan Javier, bassist Kurt “Kid Bass” Blankenship and drummer Stephen Aragno.
Earlier this year, Hed PE released the ‘80s covers album New and Improved, which features Hed PE taking on songs from the likes of The Police, AC/DC, A Flock of Seagulls and Willie Nelson. Expect a few of these covers thrown into the setlist alongside tracks from Broke with Hed PE touch down in Australia next February.
Catch Hed PE performing at Lion Arts Factory on Wednesday 11 February. Ticketing information is available at octoberpresents.com.
