Queensland’s Big Pineapple Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with another monster lineup.
The one-day festival, held at Pineapple Fields on the Sunshine Coast, takes place on Saturday 1 November and is headlined by Adelaide hip hop greats Hilltop Hoods.
Back on the touring circuit in support of their upcoming new record, Fall From the Light, the Hoods aren’t the only big Aussie act taking to the stage.
Funk-loving ensemble The Cat Empire, indie rockers The Jungle Giants and electronic duo PANU are all part of this year’s stacked bill.
Those who like the heavy stuff will be enamoured by Polaris and Hands Like Horses, while New Zealand pop act SIX60 will provide the harmonies.
The 2025 Big Pineapple lineup is rounded out by MKTO, Rum Jungle, Thelma Plum, Betty Taylor, Beckah Amani, HEADSEND and IVANA.
This year’s event also features a new stage with a focus on electronic music, with the likes of Baauer, Nina Las Vegas, KLP, Wongo, Shimmy and Raw Ordio spinning tunes throughout the day.

“When we started this festival years ago, our goal was to put Australian artists front and centre and create an unforgettable experience for fans,” says Mark Pico, founder and Festival Director of Big Pineapple Festival.
“To be here over a decade later with the festival stronger than ever and even earning industry awards again… is incredibly humbling. It’s a testament to the amazing community of artists, attendees and partners who have believed in the Big Pineapple Festival from the start.”
Sunshine Coast Council Mayor Rosanna Natoli added, “Celebrating 10 years, this festival has grown into a cornerstone of our cultural calendar, bringing together artists, audiences and the community in a shared love of live music.
“It’s especially exciting to see emerging local talent like Betty Taylor featured alongside national and international acts, reinforcing the Sunshine Coast’s reputation as a place where creativity thrives.”
