After an incredible debut earlier this year, Beer & BBQ Fest returns to Mt. Gambier in 2025 for another action-packed two days of beers, BBQ and live tunes.
Last year’s event went under the banner South East Beer & BBQ Fest and was a resounding success. Over 5,000 punters enjoyed local froths, tasty grub and awesome live music from The Smith Street Band, Bad//Dreems, The Pretty Littles and more across the weekend. The response was so incredible organisers have today revealed the second edition of the festival has been given the go-ahead.
Once again held at Mt. Gambier Railway Lands, the 2025 festival will take place on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. Along with revealing the date, the rebranded Beer & BBQ Fest Mt. Gambier has unveiled the headline musical acts for both nights.
Celebrating the 21st anniversary of their smash hit debut album Begins Here, alt-rockers The Butterfly Effect will take the stage on the first night. The following evening sees pop punkers Slowly Slowly and Brisbane indie rockers DZ Deathrays share the spotlight. There will also be a host of local DJs spinning tunes to keep you in a jovial mood throughout the two days,
It’s not just live music, beer and BBQ – expect BMX action, axe throwing, the return of the Silent Disco, a temporary tattoo parlour and more.
The rest of the musical lineup will be revealed over the coming weeks along with more fun activities and all the vendors participating.
General sale tickets go on sale in November but for those who don’t want to miss out, early bird tickets are available today via Mosthtix. A weekend pass will set you back $80.03 + booking fee, which is an absolute steal! But get in quick as they are sure to sell like hot cakes.
Anyone buying an early bird ticket automatically goes into the draw to win the Ultimate Limestone Coast Weekend Holiday for you and four mates. Details are scarce on what the prize entails, but it’s valued at a cool $5K and sounds like the best way to enjoy everything Beer & BBQ Fest Mt. Gambier has to offer.
