Verzanski – ‘Aqaba’
SA-based producer Verzanski has recently released a full-length album, Snakecharmer. Opening track ‘Aqaba’ is a brilliant introduction to all the sounds that flow through the entire LP, with strong notes of trip-hop, breakbeat, electronica and psych-rock. Middle Eastern flavours showcase the producer’s own heritage alongside a sonic nod to The Chemical Brothers, DJ Shadow and The Prodigy. A huge congrats to Verzanski on the LP – we look forward to seeing what’s next for the exciting artist!
