The psychedelic jazz trio return down under next year for a run of festival and headline shows.

Canadian instrumental trio BADBADNOTGOOD return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with a run of headline gigs and festival appearances.
The alt-jazz act was last in OZ in 2024 in support of their most recent release, the three-record epic Mid Spiral, which features collabs with the likes of Daniel Ceaser, Westside Gunn and Norah Jones.
BADBADNOTGOOD’s tour commences in New Zealand with one show at Auckland’s Town Hall on Sunday 1 March. It’s then off to Australia for gigs at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Wednesday 4 March and Sydney’s Opera House on Friday 6 March before an appearance at Adelaide’s WOMAD festival on Monday 9 March. The trio finish the tour with two shows at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Wednesday 11 March and Thursday 12 March, before a final performance at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Saturday 14 March.
There are two pre-sale options, with the Mastercard pre-sale running from 9am AEDT on Tuesday 9 December to 8am AEDT on Friday 12 December, and the Live Nation pre-sale running from 9am AEDT on Wednesday 10 December to 8am AEDT on Friday 12 December.

Coming together in 2010, bassist Chester Hansen, keyboardist Matthew Tavares and drummer Alexander Sowinski have been thrilling audiences with their psychedelic jazz compositions across six studio albums.
BADBADNOTGOOD have also released a collaborative album with rapper Ghostface Killah, Sour Soul, and produced a slew of releases from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Kali Uchis and more.
The group’s upcoming Aussie and New Zealand tour will see the three-piece performing songs from their latest release Mid Spiral, along with fan favourites and deep cuts from across their 15-year career.
