The Puerto Rican star was joined on stage by Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and more.
Bad Bunny delivered one of the greatest Super Bowl Halftime Shows of all time yesterday, with viewers across the world agreeing.
According to CBS News, more than 135 million tuned in to watch Benito performing, surpassing the 133.5 million who watched Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2025.
This is vindication for Bad Bunny, who has come under constant criticism from President Donald Trump and the American right wing.
His performance was an incredible celebration of not only Puerto Rican culture, but also American culture, with the reggaeton star joined by Lady Gaga and fellow Puerto Rican icon Ricky Martin.
Bad Bunny’s show opened with the worldwide star, sporting a white jumpsuit and holding a football, walking through a field of palm trees and sugar cane in a nod to his heritage while rapping hit single ‘Tití Me Preguntó’.
From there, things just got better, with Benito performing a stack of songs from his latest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, including ‘EoO’, ‘NUEVAYoL’ and ‘DTMF’, while also spotlighting Lady Gaga, who performed a slasa version of her Bruno Mars collaboration ‘Die With a Smile’, and the great Ricky Martin, who covered Bad Bunny’s ‘Lo Que Paso a Hawaii’.
Elsewhere, a real couple got married on stage, Cardi B, Karol G, Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba and more famous faces popped up on stage dancing during ‘Yo Perreo Sola’, and Benito brougth things to a close turning to the camera and announcing, “God bless America’, before rattling off every country that makes up North and South America and performing ‘DtMF’.
Oh yeah, there was also a football game. The Seattle Seahawks smashed the New England Patriots 29-13.

The reaction to Bad Bunny’s performance has been mixed, but the numbers don’t lie.
Those who agree that Benito killed it include former Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watts, who took to X to say, “Did I understand a single word of it? I did not. Was it a vibe? It was,” and Ben Stiller, who wrote. “Incredible Half time show Bad Bunny.”
ICE T posted on X, “Bad Bunny was dope at the Supebowl last night.. And I don’t give a F how you feel about it,” while Camila Cabello took to her Instagram Stories to post in Spanish, “That’s right! @badbunnypr Long live our beautiful Latin culture!!! And congratulations, Benito.”
