Applications Now Open for New Found Sound 2026
This is an exciting opportunity for local artists to perform at the annual Port Adelaide festival.

Play in a band or perform as a solo artist and want to be involved in Port Adelaide’s freshest music festival? Well, you’re in luck, with applications now open to artists keen to take part in New Found Sound 2026.
Presented by the City of Port Adelaide in conjunction with New Day Projects, New Found Sound is a one-night showcase of South Australia’s incredible music community set across multiple venues around the Port. And for the first time in the festival’s history, interstate acts can apply to perform.
Next year’s edition also moves from summer to autumn, with New Found Sound taking over the Port on Saturday 9 May, offering emerging artists the opportunity to perform to music-loving punters while supporting a raft of venues across Port Adelaide.
Applications are now open for bands and artists wishing to be part of the 2026 event, with artists encouraged to submit their details as soon as possible here. Applications close on Monday 15 December.
This year’s event featured performances from more than 30 SA acts across ten venues, with the likes of The Genevieves, Mondo Psycho, Emerauld, Pest Control, TONIX and San Ureshi taking to stages at venues including Port Admiral Hotel, The Banksia Tree, Pirate Life Brewery and Fergie Mac’s Lounge.

The Gold Coast DJ’s annual festival will not be going ahead in 2026
