The thrash metal legends are returning to Australia in March next year.

Thrash metal icons Anthrax return to Australia for the first time since 2019 for a special run of shows next year.
The tour will see Anthrax perform a career-spanning set of classic tracks from their 11 studio albums, with the possibility of a few new tracks as the band prepares to release their first record in a decade.
The current lineup of OG member Scott Ian alongside Charlie Benante, Frank Bello, Joey Belladonna and Jon Donais took to social media to announce the tour, posting: “We’re heading back to Australia in March 2026 for four shows — Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. We can’t wait to bring the noise down under!”
Anthrax’s Australian tour kicks off in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Monday 23 March, and continues with dates at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Wednesday 25 March, Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Thursday 26 March, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 28 March.

Hailing from New York, Anthrax are considered one of the Big Four thrash metal pioneers of the ‘80s along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.
Across a career spanning more than 40 years, Anthrax have released 11 studio albums, sold more than 10 million records worldwide and inspired a host of modern rock and metal bands.
