The news comes after Billy Corgan cancelled his Good Things sideshows.

It’s been a tumultuous last couple of days for Good Things Festival. After quietly cancelling Billy Corgan’s sideshows with The Delta Riggs in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, organisers were hit with another bombshell when punk rockers Destroy Boys pulled out of the festival.
Releasing a statement, the band said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will have to cancel our appearance at Good Things and Australia shows. To our Aussie fans - we are sorry we can’t make it this time, and we can’t wait to meet you in the future!”
Not only were Destroy Boys meant to perform at all three dates of Good Things, but they also had solo shows lined up.
The good news to come out of this mess is the addition of Alex Lahey to the Good Things bill. An accomplished artist in her own right, the indie rocker's most recent release was 2013s The Answer Is Always Yes, her third album that was nominated for a 2024 AIR Award in the Best Independent Rock Album or EP category.
Along with Lahey, three local acts have been named to play at each leg of the festival. Belle Haven will take to the stage in Melbourne, Inertia will entertain fans in Sydney and Bad Neighbour will take the spotlight in Brisbane. Also announced are the Battle of the Band competition winners, with Body Prison performing in Melbourne, Pyrefly in Sydney and Cosmica in Brisbane.
