It’s fair to say that using the term ‘emerging’ to describe aleksiah is now null and void. The Adelaide singer-songwriter is a bona fide star, and if you need proof, just check out her most recent release, ‘The Hit’.
A lively electro bopper about fulfilling your potential, it follows successful singles ‘Clothes Off’ and ‘Batsh*t’, which both showcase aleksiah’s development as a songwriter.
aleksiah shared this about the song on Instagram: “I wrote it in a random hotel alone one night after a crying fit (classic) about the anxiety of living up to expectations, which is something I think we can all relate to.”
To coincide with the release of ‘The Hit’, aleksiah has announced a run of Australian tour dates alongside alt-pop artist Chloe Parché.
Kicking things off supporting Old Mervs at HPC Stadium in Perth on Saturday, July 5, aleksiah takes over Melbourne’s Northcote Socail Club on Friday, July 11, Sydney’s Metro Social on Saturday, July 12 and Brisbane’s Black Bear Lounge on Saturday, July 19, before aleksiah returns home to Adelaide for a gig at Lion Arts Factory on Friday, August 15.
Pre-sale commences on Monday, May 26 at 9:30am local time, with general on-sale beginning on Tuesday, May 27 at 9:30am local time. For more details head to via aleksiah’s website.

After sold-out headline shows in the UK and Sydney, along with an EU tour supporting Beth McCarthy, aleksiah has returned home ready to hit the stage with brand-new music for her Aussie fans.
“It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to play shows and I’ve been absolutely itching at the chance to get back out there, and better yet, I’m bringing my bestie @chloe.parche along,” aleksiah posted on the Gram. “These shows are gonna be my funnest yet and I can’t wait to celebrate something very cool with u guys.”
