The 2026 McDonald’s Footy Festival Live & Loud returns this year for AFL Gather Round, taking place at Elder Park from Thursday 9 April to Sunday 12 April 12.
A celebration of South Australian music, last year’s Live & Loud featured local artists taking part in a competition, before headliner Sneaky Sound System took the stage.
Things have changed slightly this year. There’s no competition, but all artists chosen to perform on the day will be paid and get the chance to entertain footy fans at the McDonald’s Footy Festival.
If this is the thought of thing that gets your juices going, all you need to do is fill out a short form and submit a 2-to 3-minute video of you or your band performing via this link.
All submissions are due by Saturday 28 March.

This year’s AFL Gather Round music lineup also extends to the 2026 Pepsi Collective, held in Adelaide Oval's Magarey Room. Fans can catch sets from Andy Murphy and DJ Piero on Thursday and John Course and SGT Slick on Friday.
Andrew Loadsman alongside a slew of talented local artists take over on Saturday, with iconic Australian DJ Havana Brown closing out the weekend on Sunday night with what promises to be an energetic dancefloor-filling set.
AFL Executive General Manager of Consumer and Commercial Bec Haagsma said the artists will excite fans at Gather Round and in the Pepsi Collective come April.
“We are so excited to have some of Australia's best DJs come together in the Pepsi Collective to bring the party to the 2026 AFL Gather Round,” Haagsma said.
“The Pepsi Collective is one of the hottest tickets for Gather Round and with these announcements, including Cyril and Havana Brown, we encourage fans to not miss out and get their tickets to experience the Pepsi Collective for themselves.”
