The Adelaide leg of electronic festival Electric Island just got even bigger today, with organisers announcing electronic collective Above & Beyond will perform at the event.
Taking over Glenelg beach on Saturday 11 April, Above & Beyond join an incredible lineup that also includes global superstar Armand Van Helden and Australia’s own Flight Facilities (Dj Set).
Not only have Above & Beyond been added to Electric Island Adelaide, but the festival has unveiled a world-class list of international powerhouses and unmissable local icons that will take to the stage across the three-city, five-date festival tour.
Acclaimed DJ and remixer Eats Everything, trailblazing new wave house duo Cristoph b2b Jeremy Olander, London’s sibling duo Eli & Fur and Aussie electro greats Sneaky Sound System and SA’s own Late Nite Tuff Guy will all perform at Electric Island.
If that’s not enough to sway you, local DJs and producers from each city have been announced, including Melbourne/Naarm’s Amity, Mike Steva, Rromarin and Tyson O’Brien, Adelaide/Kaurna DJs Audioporn and Felicity and Perth/Whadjuk’s Fifth Day & Nico Giovanni, Law Corden and Mind Electric.
“This is our biggest line-up to date with so many great international and local artists playing Electric Island next year,” says Damian Gelle, Director T1000 Events/Electric Island. “We’re thrilled to be able to expand in 2026 and deliver these unique shows across pristine coastline venues in three states of Australia.”
Electric Island takes place in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth next year. The Adelaide event takes over Glenelg beach on Saturday 11 April, while the Melbourne and Perth events will be held across two days over the same weekend at Melbourne’s RIVA and Perth’s Cottesloe Beach on Saturday 18 April and Sunday 19 April.
