Making his mark as the frontman of Immortal, Abbath Doom Occulta became one of the most revered figures in the burgeoning death metal scene of the ‘90s.
During his time with Immortal, the band released eight albums – including the 1998 classic At the Heart of Winter – and cemented themselves as one of the great death metal acts.
After a dispute with the other band members, Abbath left Immortal and went solo in 2015. He’s gone on to release three albums – Abbath (2016), Outstrider (2019) and Dread Reaver (2022) – but is excited to return to Australia and perform all the big Immortal tracks next year.
