YOB make their Australian return after a ten year absence.

A decade on since their last visit, doom metal greats YOB return to Australia for a run of five shows in 2026.
The Oregon trio will perform a career-spanning set, playing songs from their eight albums, with support from Sydney’s Mountain Wizard Death Cult.
“It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since we’ve been to Australia. We are so stoked to be coming back!” enthuses YOB frontman Mike Scheidt.
YOB’s 2026 Australian tour commences in Perth at The Rosemount Hotel on Sunday 15 February and continues with dates at Adelaide’s The Ed Castle on Tuesday 17 February, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Thursday 19 February, Sydney’s Crowbar on Friday 20 February and Brisbane’s Crowbar on Sunday 22 February.

YOB have been ripping up venues across the globe for almost three decades. In that time, the trio have released eight albums, with their last being 2018’s Our Raw Heart, which was critically acclaimed by the global music press.
Pitchfork called Our Raw Heart “a sensuous, aggressive, and jubilant album”, while Exclaim! wrote the “record is a celebration of everything YOB.”
The current lineup of founding vocalist and guitarist Mike Scheidt, bassist Aaron Rieseberg and drummer Dave French are touring the US before heading out way in February next year.
