Yamaha Music Australia are doing their bit to help the Aussie music scene with the announcement of the Main Stage Grant.
This brand new initiative has been created to help support the next generation of Australian music superstars by giving them everything they need to create, record and perform.
The grant is open to anyone from around the country, with artists able to apply in three categories: bands, singer-songwriters and music producers.
One artist from each category will receive a tidy $5,000 cash prize plus an additional $5,000 worth of Yamaha instruments.
So how do you enter? It’s super simple. Head to yamaha.com, fill in the entry form and share your best track. A panel of judges will listen to each song and pick a winner in each category based on clarity, originality, artistic integrity and potential for impact. Winners will be announced in early December. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, head to Yamaha Music Australia’s website.
Applications are open now until 10am AEST on Saturday 15 November. Enter here.
