WOMADelaide Reveals The Planet Talks 2026 Program
WOMADelaide’s flagship three-day forum returns to the festival’s Frome Park Pavilion.

WOMADelaide’s three day fourm The Planet Talks returns in 2026 with a host of international and local voices encouraging inspiring conversations on sustainability and the environment.
Taking place at Frome Park Pavilion from Saturday to Monday, The Planet Talks lineup features a total of 18 speakers, including multi-Walkley-winning journalist and author Marian Wilkinson, environmental scientist and advocate Tim Jarvis AM, leading Maori earth systems scientist Dan Hikuroa and UNICEF Pacific Ambassador Moemoana Schwenke.
Expect in-depth discussion around the state of the planet and how to sustain it from a range of speakers from all walks of life, including First Nations leaders, award-winning investigative journalists, leading scientists and more.

River Listening
An exploration of how listening to rivers can transform our relationship with water, panellists share stories and strategies for protecting waterways through more-than-human perspectives and First Nations leadership.

The 2026 edition of WOMADelaide will feature more than 600 artists in 69 groups from 38 countries, highlighting the diversity of WOMAD and why it is constantly rated as one of the world’s best festivals.
Taking place across four days at Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla over the March long weekend (6-9), the diverse lineup includes ‘80s disco and soul legend Grace Jones, hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development, legendary Aussie group Yothu Yindi, Canadian jazz-fusion outfit BADBADNOTGOOD, Yolngu rapper and dancer Baker Boy, American gospel family band Annie & The Caldwells and many more.
