American death metal thrillers Undeath are rising from the grave this September as they embark on their first headline tour of Australia.
Taking to social media to announce the tour, the band declared: “Can’t wait for this one. So much more to come very soon. You ain’t ready - it’s about to be Undeath Season Worldwide.”
The band behind horror stories ‘Lesions of a Different Kind’, ‘Defiled Again’ and ‘Rise From the Grave’ won’t be traversing the country alone, bringing Melbourne’s thrash/metal demons Gutless and Brisbane’s frightening metal disciples Resin Tombs along for the ride.
Kicking things off at Perth’s Lynott’s Lounge on Wednesday, September 18, Undeath takes their grisly show on the road, hitting Rhino Room in Adelaide on Thursday, September 19. They then play Stay Gold in Melbourne on Friday, September 20 and Simo's Dive on the Water in Sydney on Saturday, September 21 before a final sacrifice at The Brightside Brisbane on Sunday, September 22.
Early Bird pre-sale commences this Friday, June 28 at 9:30am local time. General sale begins Monday, July 1 at 9:30am. For full ticketing details visit Destroy All Lines.

New York death metal purveyors Undeath have been consistently releasing music since forming in 2018. With two studio albums, two EPs and a live record to their name, the five-piece combines old school death metal with modern heavy music, creating scary-as-shit compositions that will keep you up late at night.
Their Australian visit comes after two years of touring 2022’s breakthrough album, It’s Time… Rise From the Grave. Pitchfork gave the record an impressive 8.3/10 with writer Grayson Haver Currin commenting that listening to the album makes you feel “a little less worried about dying and a little more alive, at least for these 36 gleeful minutes.”
Looking to end their tour cycle with a bang, expect plenty of head-throbbing songs about zombies and grave robbers when Undeath comes to town this September.
See Undeath perform at Rhino Room in Adelaide on Thursday, September 19. Full ticketing information available via Destroy All Lines.
