Froth & Fury Fest has fast become South Australia's premier heavy metal and alternative music festival and this year’s lineup only confirms this statement.
Sydney heavy metal gurus Northlane, black metal grinders Thy Art Is Murder and American industrial metal icons Fear Factory are headlining this year’s epic festival lineup.
They will be joined by a mega bill of international and Aussie acts including Adelaide’s own alt-rockers Testeagles, punk band Bodyjar, Newcastle underdogs These New South Whales, Taiwanese act Dharma and more.
Froth & Fury 2024 also features Day of Contempt reforming for their first live performance in years and regular Adelaide visitors Hard Ons celebrating their 40th anniversary.
Described as “part music festival, part Oktoberfest,” Froth & Fury 2024 will be held on Saturday, November 9 at its new home Hart’s Mill, Port Adelaide. As the festival name suggests, along with ear-shattering tunes there will be plenty of booze on offer, with Pirate Life, Jack Daniel’s, Canadian Club and Suntory providing the cold refreshments.
Early bird presale begins Thursday, June 20 at 9:00am local time. General public on-sale: kicks off Tuesday, June 25 at 9:00am local time. Visit frothandfuryfest.com for full ticketing details.
The inaugural Froth & Fury Fest was held in 2021 during the Covid pandemic and proved a raging success, with 23 local bands performing to a sell out crowd who gathered at Pirate Life Brewing.
The second edition was also held at Pirate Life Brewing but extended to the surrounding streets and once again sold out, with over 2,500 people enjoying tunes and brews from a range of talented acts, with Scottish pirate rockers Alestorm, Melbounre’s Void of Vision and legendary grindcore lads King Parrot headlining.
Last year’s Froth & Fury Fest was the biggest yet, with 4,000 people enjoying international, national and local bands across three stages over three shutdown streets surrounding Pirate Life Brewery. Notable bands who played included The Butterfly Effect, Suicidal Tendencies and Sunk Loto.
This year’s Froth & Fury Fest looks set to continue the festival’s burgeoning legacy and is one event metal and rock fans don’t want to miss.
