Uli Jon Roth Plots Debut Australian Tour
The former member of hard rock outfit The Scorpions has locked in three shows this September.

German guitar virtuoso Uli Jon Roth is heading Down Under for the first time on his Pictures of Destiny tour.
Roth will perform all the biggest hits from his time as a member of ‘70s hard rock greats The Scorpions, alongside other tracks from his more than 50 year career with Electric Sun and as a solo artist.
Expect to hear classic tracks incluidng ‘In Trance’, ‘We'll Burn The Sky’, ‘Fly To The Rainbow’, ‘The Sails Of Charon’, ‘Pictured Life’, ‘Catch Your Train’ and more when Roth takes to the stage in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne this Septmeber.
Roth’s Pictures of Destiny tour kicks off at Sydney’s Manning Bar on Wednesday 3 September and continues with dates at Adelaide’s The Gov on Thursday 4 September and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Friday 5 September.

A hero to Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, Megadeth’s Marty Friedman and legendary axeman Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth made his name as a member of The Scorpions, one of the biggest selling hard rock outfits of all time.
Replacing Michael Schenker in 1973, Roth released four studio albums while with The Scorpions – Fly To The Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer and Taken By Force – along with the band’s Gold selling double live album, Tokyo Tapes.
After leaving The Scorpions, Roth formed his own band, Electric Sun, and released three studio albums before embarking on a long and fruitful solo career.
Roth has composed four symphonies, two concertos and performed with some of the biggest rock acts in the world, including Joe Satriani, Brian May and The Smashing Pumpkins.
