triple j Reveals Unearthed High Finalists 2025
The five finalists represent the rich and diverse tapestry of Australia’s musical climate.

triple j cop a lot of flak these days, but there’s no denying they are trying their best to spotlight up-and-coming Aussie talent with competitions like triple j Unearthed High.
Since its inception in 2007, the national comp has launched the careers of some of the country’s biggest and brightest stars, including The Kid LAROI, Genesis Owusu, Sycco, Gretta Ray and Hockey Dad.
This year’s five finalists are some of the most exciting talents yet, with the winner to be crowned this week. The prize: a songwriting session with either The Jungle Giants, Peach PRC, What So Not or Nerve, plus mentorship and support from industry experts.

DRIZZZ
London-born, Sydney-based rapper DRIZZZ is making noise with his two singles, ‘GREEN’ and ‘Who’s Dat!’. The 16-year-old is influenced by Central Cee and AJ Tracey with a dash of Campbelltown.
Frank & Louis
After making the finals last year but missing out, Sunshine Coast brothers Frank & Louis have made it back-to-back finals in 2025. Having honed their craft busking on the local streets, the lads made the finals thanks to their second-ever single, self-produced folk number ‘King Baby’.
Heyzuko!
Perth-based Filipino-Australian Heyzuko! takes inspiration from the likes of Juice WRLD and The Kid LAROI, crafting upbeat hip hop bangers that are connecting with music lovers across Australia.
RIAH
Shaped by her diverse background (Tongan, Fijian, Aboriginal and Italian heritage), RIAH channels a range of musical influences that include reggae, jazz, country, Tongan hymns, Italian records and Fijian lullabies. Her latest single, ‘Motherslave’, is a slinky R&B ode to her mother.
Theeth
The triple j crew can’t get enough of Theeth. Counting Melbourne producer Alice Ivy as a fan, the two have been working together, including on Theeth’s most recent single, ‘Paper Frames’.
