Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker is the latest musician to receive the documentary treatment, with Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear exploring the highs and lows of the stickman’s life.
Making its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival on Saturday 13 June, the screening will be followed by a special conversation with Barker before the doco makes its debut on Thursday 13 August, on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally.
Directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer and produced by Matthew Weaver and Nick Stern, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear chronicles Barker’s life from a trash collector in Laguna Beach to the drummer of one of the biggest bands on the planet.
The film also addresses the devastating plane crash that almost claimed Barker’s life and how he battled back, with Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear revealing “a complex man battling pain, grief and the thin line between survival and surrender.”

He’s gone on to release seven albums with Blink while also founding the rock band +44 and playing with Box Car Racer, Antemasque and Goldfinger. Barker has become an in-demand producer and collaborated with everyone from Steve Aoki and Eminem to Escape the Fate and Avril Lavigne.
