My Chemical Romance have announced the release of Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Edition), an expanded reissue of their fourth studio album dropping Friday 10 July via Reprise Records.
Not only does this deluxe edition include remastered versions of the album’s OG songs, but it also includes nine unreleased tracks and reimagined artwork.
Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Deluxe Edition) will be available to stream and download on all digital platforms, as well as in multiple 2LP configurations, including picture disc, zoetrope and colour vinyl variants, and 2CD and cassette. Pre-order/pre-save here.
To coincide with the announcement, Gerard Way and his mates have shared the first bonus track from the album, ‘Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) (Recorded For BBC Radio 1)’. As the title suggests, the track was recorded in 2010 when the band visited the BBC Radio studios.
Originally released in November 2010, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys was produced by My Chemical Romance and Rob Cavallo. A concept rock opera set in a post-apocalyptic California, the record debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 and topped both Billboard’s Rock and Alternative Albums charts.
