After several years away from the spotlight, London-based singer, songwriter and producer Tom Misch returns with new single ‘Sisters With Me’, taken from his long-awaited sophomore album Full Circle.
Arriving Friday 27 March via Beyond The Groove / AWAL Recordings (pre-order here), Full Circle was crafted during stints in London, Cornwall, Portugal and Nashville. The album is shaped by the events of the past four years, exploring the stories and moments Misch encountered and experienced while recovering from mental health issues.
The album finds Misch shifting towards traditional songwriting techniques, working closely with artist and songwriter Matt Maltese, who co-wrote several songs on the record, alongside Ian Fitchuk and Adam Jaffrey. Recording on tape and using a vintage U47 microphone, the sound of Full Circle was influenced by great American acts of the ‘70s like Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, John Martyn and John Taylor.
Accompanying the announcement of Full Circle is the new single ‘Sisters With Me’, a song that originated while Misch was living with his sisters in their family home for the first time as adults. Reflecting on the song, Misch says, “It wasn’t my intention to write anything like that, but it was probably a bit of subconscious creativity with everything that was going on.”
Misch has also released a music video for the song, shot by photographer and filmmaker Juliet Klottrup, which documents the relationship between sisters and their siblings through a series of short vignettes. Check it out below.

Last year, Misch dipped his toes back into music with the release of standalone singles ‘Old Man’ and ‘Red Moon’, both inspired by music from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Since emerging in 2012 after his songs were posted on SoundCloud, which helped push him into the mainstream, Misch has released two mixtapes and his 2008 critically acclaimed debut album, Geography. Peaking at #8 on the UK Album Chart, the record helped Misch sell out shows worldwide.
He’s gone on to release several EPs, collaborate with Loyle Carner and release an album with Yussef Dayes and another under the alias Supershy. During what appeared to be the most successful period of his career, Misch began suffering from extreme anxiety and decided to step away from music. Reconnecting with nature and his family and friends, Misch is ready to return with Full Circle later this year.
