UK artist Tom Misch is well and truly back. After sharing his comeback single ‘Sisters With Me’ last month, along with announcing his long-awaited sophomore album Full Circle, out Friday 27 March via Beyond The Groove/AWAL Recordings (pre-order here), Misch has shared the album’s captivating second single ‘Slow Tonight’.
The track was written with Max Wolfgang in Portugal while Tom was travelling the country in a van. An effervescent indie head nodder, ‘Slow Tonight’ is food for the soul.
“It’s the most jammy track on the record,” explains Misch. “I wanted to have a bit of lightness and contrast, it’s just one of those bedroom bangers.”
Full Circle was written and recorded in London, Cornwall, Portugal and Nashville and is influenced by events that shaped Misch’s life over the past four years. Striving for a more authentic approach to songwriting, Misch worked closely with artist and songwriter Matt Maltese, who co-wrote several songs on the record, alongside Ian Fitchuk and Adam Jaffrey.

Tom Misch made is return last year with standalone singles ‘Old Man’ and ‘Red Moon’, songs influenced by the traditional songwriters of the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Posting songs on SoundCloud in 2012, Misch dropped two mixtapes before the release of his 2018 critically acclaimed debut album, Geography. The record peaked at #8 on the UK Albums Chart and helped Misch become a household name across the globe.
Since then, Misch has shared several EPs, collaborated with Loyle Carner and released an album with Yussef Dayes and another under the alias Supershy.
Despite several years away from music, battling extreme anxiety, Misch is refreshed and ready to reconnect with fans with his new album, Full Circle.
