Thy Art Is Murder Debut New Vocalist With Fresh Single "Squeeze"

Thy Art Is Murder has turned the page and started a new chapter with the announcement of Jerry Grimefeld as the band's new vocalist.

A familiar face in the Aussie heavy music and hip hop scene, Grimefeld quietly joined the band earlier this year, making his first appearance at Life's A Beach Festival in Melbourne before becoming a fully fledged member of TAIM when the band toured Europe.

Grimefeld is already making an impression, with Distorted Sound Magazine writing that he "slotted into his role seamlessly with impressive ferocity" and Hive UK marvelling at the "energetic frontman with insane gutturals and control of his vocals".

"Thy Art Is Murder has influenced me more than any other band in the world," Grimefeld said about his new post. "Hate sent me down the path I'm on today, so being part of this band now is surreal. I'm blessed to be here, and I can't wait to show everyone what we've been working on. We're about to get ignorant with it."

TAIM have also shared their first new song to feature Grimefeld, 'Squeeze', which is out now via Human Warfare.

The track is an explosive detonation of double-bass pedals, crunching riffs and Grimefeld's jaw-dropping scream.
