Thy Art Is Murder Announce ‘Godlike’ 2024 Australian Tour
The band will be performing at Froth & Fury Fest this November.

Aussie metal outfit Thy Art Is Murder is embarking on a national tour this November in support of their latest album, 2023s Godlike. Having conquered Europe with a slew of sold out shows, the band is stoked to be heading home for a run of dates.
“AUSTRALIA! 🇦🇺 We’re coming to finish the year off right,” the band proclaimed on their Instagram.
This will be the band’s first headline Australian tour with new vocalist Tyler Miller, the replacement for singer CJ McMahon, who was ousted from the band for some controversial social media posts last year.
The ‘Godlike’ tour gets underway on Friday, November 8 at 170 Russell in Melbourne. The five-piece then hit Froth & Fury Fest in Adelaide on Saturday, November 9 before continuing the tour in Perth at Magnet House on Sunday, November 10. The final dates take place in Brisbane at The Princess Theatre on Thursday, November 14 and at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, November 15.
Thy Art Is Murder won’t be going it alone, with the Blacktown deathcore act bringing Canadian terrors Brand Of Sacrifice, Boston forces of nature Great American Ghost and Melbourne’s own Lune along for the ride.

It’s been an eventful 12 months for Thy Art Is Murder, with the sacking of vocalist CJ McMahon coming a day after the release of their sixth LP, Godlike. Tyler Miller, known for his work with Aversions Crown, replaced McMahon a week after he was sacked.
Having already released Godlike with McMahon’s vocals, the band decided to head back into the studio and re-recorded the album with Miller’s vocals. Both versions of the record received high praise from critics. Wall of Sounds Adam Rice said Thy Art Is Murder has “created an album that can easily be envisioned being performed on arena stages or large-scale festival headline slots” while Hysteria Mag called it “bigger, grander, bloodier.”
