Founded in 1988 by vocalist and bassist Edward “Eddie Spaghetti” Daly (the sole remaining OG member), guitarists Ron “Rontrose” Heathman and Dan “Thunder” Bolton and drummer Dan “Dancing Eagle” Siegel, The Supersuckers were described by AllMusic as “the bastard sons of Foghat, AC/DC, and ZZ Top after being weaned on punk rock, unafraid of massive guitar riffs, outsized personalities, or pledging allegiance to sex, weed, and Satan with a wink and a nudge.”
The Supersuckers have released over 10 studio albums across almost four decades, with the most recent being last year’s Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing.
Nashville Pussy have been regular visitors down under, having played the final ever show at Sydney’s iconic Frankies in 2022 and toured last year with The Supersuckers.
Formed by husband and wife duo Blaine Cartwright (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Ruyter Suys (lead guitar), Nashville Pussy also includes Bonnie Buitrago (bass) and Dusty Watson (drums), with the band known for making music themed around sex, drugs and rock and roll.
Catch The Supersuckers & Nashville Pussy at Ed Castle on Wednesday 24 February. Ticketing information is available via hardlinemedia.bigcartel.com.
