Open Eyre Events, with support from Whyalla City Council, is excited to annouce new Whyalla music festival, Forged in Steel.
Taking over Ada Ryan Gardens on Saturday 28 March, Forged in Steel is headlined by legendary Aussie rockers The Screaming Jets and acts as the closing event to Whyalla’s annual month-long uneARTh Festival.
Sharing the stage with The Screaming Jets throughout the festival are These Days, Funk Me, Funky Monks and local Eyre Peninsula artists, showcasing the true spirit of Whyalla.
“We’ve played some loud shows in our time, but there’s something special about taking rock to a town built on grit and steel,” says The Screaming Jets frontman Dave Gleeson.
“Whyalla knows what hard work is, and that’s exactly the kind of crowd we love—people who show up ready to go all in. We’re fired up to headline Forged in Steel this March and bring a massive night of Aussie rock to South Australia. It’s going to be loud, it’s going to be sweaty, and it’s going to be unforgettable.”
