Two years on since their last Australian tour, UK indie outfit The Reytons have announced they are returning down under as part of their monster world tour.
As they prepare for the release of their fourth studio album, A Love Letter To A Broken Town, which drops in July, The Reytons are hitting the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
Revealing the tour on Instagram, the band wrote: “This is it!!! From New York to Sydney, London to Tokyo… Bigger, better and stronger than ever… Reytons are taking over the world!! (And they said we’d never leave Rotherham). All Reytons, let’s do it!!”
The Reytons hit Australia in November with shows at Perth’s Magnet House on Friday 27 November and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Sunday 29 November. The tour continues with dates at Brisbane’s The Brightside on Thursday 3 December, followed by shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 4 December and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday 5 December. The Reytons’ finish up their tour down under in New Zealand at Wellington’s San Fran on Monday 7 December and Auckland’s The Tuning Fork on Tuesday 8 December.

Forming almost a decade ago, The Reytons have established themselves as one of the best live acts to come out of the UK in that time.
The quartet comprises frontman Jonny Yerrell, lead guitarist Joe O'Brien, bass player Lee Holland and drummer Jamie Todd and have released three albums, with 2023’s What’s Rock and Roll? topping the UK Albums Chart.
Last year saw the four-piece touring the UK, headline Tramlines Festival and begin recording their fourth album, A Love Letter To A Broken Town.
“I honestly feel like this album is the best we’ve ever done!” explains frontman Jonny Yerrell. “A lot of bands and artists like to change direction later in their careers, but that’s just not us. We absolutely love the style of music we make, the social commentary aspects and the people who turn up to jump around with us. Why would we change? Expect more, just bigger and better with a few surprises on the side!”
