Earlier this year, The Peep Tempel performed a run of exclusive anniversary shows commemorating ten years since the release of their seminal second album, Tales.
Playing to packed crowds in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, along with headlining Gum Ball Music Festival and an appearance at this weekend’s Dark Mofo, the punk rock trio have now unveiled three final 2025 shows in Adelaide, Brisbane and their hometown of Melbourne.
This is the first time The Peel Tempel have hit the road in seven years and coincides with the 10 year anniversary of Tales, which the band have reissued on vinyl via Wing Sing Records (grab a copy here).
“Tales is a particularly special record for us,” vocalist and guitarist Blake Scott told triple j last year when the first batch of gigs were announced.
“We weren't sure we'd make another one at the time. Definitely had the second album blues for a time. I remember we came up with ‘Big Fish’ and ‘Carol’ in an arvo, which got us rolling. This album and of course, ‘Carol’, changed everything for us and it's nice to tip our hats to it and get together and play some shows.”
The Peep Tempel have locked in three final anniversary shows at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Wednesday, October 3, Brisbane’s Crowbar on Saturday, October 4, and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Thursday, October 9.
Tickets for all three shows are on sale now via wingsing.co.

Speaking on the upcoming shows, Scott said, “We weren’t sure how this was going to go, but we are playing better than we ever have. Seven years' rest was just what we needed.
“So many friendly faces still to see, old friends, new friends. Can’t wait to eat in Adelaide, morning Yum Cha, Yiros, late night pie floaters and the Mcleod, Matera debate. To breathe the air of a Dutton free Brisbane for the first time. It will be a time.”
The Peep Tempel’s surprising return to the stage has been met with acclaim, with fans both old and new raving about their live performances. Make sure you don’t miss out and grab your ticket asap!
