Reggae royalty returns down under next year in March when The Original Wailers embark on a seven-date tour.
After selling out shows across the country over the past couple of years, The Original Wailers, with the legendary guitarist Al Anderson, the lone surviving member of the 1970s iteration of Bob Marley & The Wailers, are back for another epic tour, performing all the biggest hits from the band, including ‘This Love’, ‘Could You Be Loved’, ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘One Love’, ‘Buffalo Soldier’, ‘No Woman No Cry’, ‘I Shot the Sheriff’, ‘Jamming’ and more.
In the last few days of his life, Bob Marley told Anderson, “Al, I’m going on my journey. Please honour the music that we made together and make sure the band stays together,” something the guitarist has lived up to over the decades.
Honouring the songs of Bob Marley and The Wailers with a spirit and authenticity that only they can, Anderson and his band begin in Perth at the Astor Theatre on Saturday 13 March. Concerts follow at The Gov in Adelaide (Monday 15 March), Anita’s Theatre in Wollongong (Thursday 18 March), Enmore Theatre in Sydney (Friday 19 March), Northcote Theatre in Melbourne (Saturday 20 March) and The Tivoli in Brisbane (Thursday 25 March), with the final date at Twin Towers on the Gold Coast on Friday 26 March.
Pre-sale kicks off at 10am AEST Tuesday 9 June, with general on-sale taking place 10am AEST Friday 12 June via metropolistouring.com.

The Wailers were formed in 1963 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, with a revolving door of musicians performing with the group until they disbanded after Marley’s tragic death in 1981.
Keen to keep Marley’s legacy alive, the band got back together and has continued to tour the globe for more than 40 years.
The Original Wailers have released several albums over the journey, with the most recent being 2025’s Evolution, which earned a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.
