‘60s loving duo The Lemon Twigs are back with new single ‘I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You’, the first taste of brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario’s new album Look For Your Mind!, out Friday 8 May via Captured Tracks/Civilians (pre-order here).
The follow-up to 2024’s A Dream Is All We Know, The Lemon Twigs sixth record features new live members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass), as well as Eva Chambers of Tchotchke.
Producing the album themselves, Look For Your Mind! marks the next logical step in the band’s evolution.
“Every time we try to write something that's completely straightforward, we can't help adding an element which comes out of left field. We always want to write a song we’ve never heard before,” chuckles Brian when discussing the creation of the record.
‘I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You’ screams of ‘60s jangle pop, with the brothers wearing their love of the Beatles and The Beach Boys on their sleeve for all to see. The chorus is catchy, the riffs vibrant and the harmonies to die for.

Vocalists, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario have been making music as The Lemon Twigs for just over a decade.
Noted for their love of 60’s and 70’s music, The Lemon Twigs released their debut album, Do Hollywood, in 2016. They’ve gone on to release a further four studio albums, while Michael released his first solo record, Till the Morning, last year. The brothers also helped produce their father’s solo album, Written by Ronnie D'Addario.
Last in Australia for Harvest Rock and a run of headline shows in 2023, the lads haven't been back since, but with an extensive 2026 touring schedule that includes the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, we’re hopeful the lads will make their way down under sometime in the next 12 months.
