Breaking out in 2023 with their classic debut album, Permission To Land, The Darkness found themselves riding a wave of success, selling millions of albums and taking home a plethora of awards, including an Ivor Novello.
They released their sophomore album, One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back, in 2005 and looked on course to become the biggest band in the world, but after lead singer Justin Hawkins was admitted to a rehabilitation centre a year later, the band went on hiatus for five years.
Returning in 2012 with their third album Hot Cakes, The Darkness have continued to entertain fans around the globe with their exuberant live performances and are not to be missed when they hit Adelaide next February.
