The Darkness Plot ‘Dreams On Toast’ 2026 Australian Tour
The UK glam rockers are touring in support of their new album, Dreams On Toast.

The Darkness are returning Down Under in 2026 in support of their eighth studio album, Dreams On Toast.
Released earlier this year to rave reviews – Kerrang! awarded the record four out of five stars – Dreams On Toast ushers in a new era for the UK glam rockers after they spent last year touring their hugely successful 2003 debut album, Permission To Land.
Fans of the band can expect to hear tracks from their latest release as well as all their big hits, including ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’, ‘One Way Ticket’ and ‘Love Is Only A Feeling’.
The Darkness’ Dream On Toast tour kicks off in Febraury at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday 20 February and makes its way to Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta (Saturday 21 February), Newcastle’s Bar On The Hill (Sunday 22 February), Wollongong’s Waves (Wednesday 25 February), Sydney’s Enmore Theatre (Friday 27 February) and Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (Saturday 28 February).
The remaining four dates take place in March at Hobart’s Odeon (Sunday 1 March), Fremantle’s Metropolis (Wednesday 4 March). Frankston’s Pier Bandroom (Friday 6 March) and Melbourne’s The Forum on Saturday 7 March.

Breaking out in 2023 with their classic debut album, Permission To Land, The Darkness found themselves riding a wave of success, selling millions of albums and taking home a plethora of awards, including an Ivor Novello.
They released their sophomore album, One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back, in 2005 and looked on course to become the biggest band in the world, but after lead singer Justin Hawkins was admitted to a rehabilitation centre a year later, the band went on hiatus for five years.
Returning in 2012 with their third album Hot Cakes, The Darkness have continued to entertain fans around the globe with their exuberant live performances and are not to be missed when they hit Adelaide next February.
