Leading Naarm/Melbourne-based artist agency Blue Music Services is excited to announce the launch of The Blueprint Project – a new artist development initiative that aims to highlight emerging Australian dance and electronic artists.
Submissions for The Blueprint Project are open now until 5pm local time on Friday, May 30, with the lucky artist selected receiving an exclusive prize pack put together by Blue Music Services focusing on the key areas of development needed to succeed in the current climate.
The winning artist will receive a full promotional package from Blue Music Services and consultations with major players in the industry, including Cloak Ent’s Gabe Bravo and Golden Hour’s Sarah Hamilton. Designer and illustrator Josh Hart-Vrijkotte will be on hand to help with the visual side of things, with Ausie producers Luude and Ana Lunoe providing A&R feedback.
If that’s not enough, the chosen one will also score two pairs of Sennheiser headphones - the HD 490 PROs for production clarity, and the iconic HD 25s, trusted by DJs worldwide – and get the chance to perform at an Untitled event.
The judging panel consists of industry experts from a wide range of outlets, including Kailyn Crabbe from triple j, Jack Colquhoun from Mixmag, Tom Cameron from Ableton, Jane Slingo of EMC and Jess Phillips from the Untitled Group.
The Blueprint Project is a fantastic initiative offering one up-and-coming artist a once-in-a-lifetime mentorship program, providing them with all the tools needed to become Australia’s next big dance or electronic star.
Applications are open now via shorten.so/blueprint-pr and close at 5pm on Friday, May 30.
