Adelaide icons Testeagles are hitting the road this October and November to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Non-Comprehendus.
After receiving a raucous response from fans after a one-off performance at Froth & Fury Fest last year, the band’s first live show in 16 years, Testeagles are returning the love by announcing a national tour in support of their iconic first album.
Non-Comprehendus peaked at #8 on the ARIA Album Chart and helped usher in the nu metal craze in Australia, with Testeagles becoming regulars on the Aussie festival touring circuit throughout the late ‘90s and early ‘00s.
Testeagles Non-Comprehendus Australian tour commences with a gig at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on the Gold Coast on Thursday 9 October and continues with shows at Adelaide’s The Gov on Thursday 30 October, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Monday 3 November and Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Thursday 6 November, with the final show taking place at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Thursday 13 November.
Pre-sale tickets are available on Wednesday 30 July at 9:00am AEST, with general on-sale beginning Thursday 31 July at 9:00am AEST. For ticketing information, visit teamwrktouring.com.

The Testes came together in 1994 when brothers Matthew “Matty” Matt (lead guitar, lead vocals) and Adrian “Ady” Matt (drums) teamed with mate Dean Lawn (bass).
The trio released three EPs, Chum in 1995 and B-Sting and Friends in 1998, before Lawn was replaced by Dave “D” Paisawa in 1999.
Gaining a cult following in Adelaide, Testeagles made their mark on the national stage with the release of their 1999 singles, ‘Turn That Shit Up’ and ‘Underdog’, both taken from their debut album, Non-Comprehendus. Arriving in 2000, the album was a surprise hit and turned Testegales into one of the biggest bands in the country.
Label issues caused the band to leave Sony and independent label Krell, eventually putting an end to the band until their triumphant return at Froth & Fury Fest this year.
