Bad news for Terminal Sleep fans, with the Melbourne heavy act forced to pull out of this year’s Froth & Fury Fest “due to a deteriorating back injury that unfortunately prevents them from performing.”
Organisers acknowledged that “this is disappointing news for fans who were keen to catch them,” but have done their best to replace Terminal Sleep with two awesome bands at such short notice.
Froth & Firy Perth takes place this Saturday 24 January at Perth’s HCP, with extreme metal masters Werewolves locked in as a replacement. For the Adelaide leg of the festival at the Adelaide Showground on Saturday 31 January, Melbourne’s intense riff grifters Algor Mortis will take to the stage.
These two acts join an incredible lineup headlined by Sydney metalcore titans Polaris alongside Max Cavalera’s groove metal act Soulfly and his industrial metal side project Nailbomb, Californian punk louts Lagwagon, Canadian hardcore heroes Comeback Kid, Byron Bay metalcore favourites In Hearts Wake, alt-rock punks Private Function and many more.

Terminal Sleep is the second band to have cancelled their appearance at Froth & Fury Fest, following local legends The Mark of Cain. They pulled out due to “unforeseen circumstances” and were replaced by Blood Duster.
For the first time in its history, Froth & Fury Fest is heading interstate to Perth.
“Froth & Fury is all about community, intensity, and a shared love of live music. Perth has an incredible scene, and we can’t wait to bring the full Froth experience west,” says festival organiser Anita Decoster.
“Western Australia has been crying out for a heavy/alternative music festival, and we’re pumped to finally bring Froth & Fury to the West,” adds Perth festival organiser Brad Wesson.
Froth & Fury Fest 2026 takes place at Perth HPC in Mount Claremont on Saturday 24 January and at Adelaide Showgrounds in Adelaide on Saturday 31 January. Tickets on sale now via frothandfuryfest.com.
