Heading to Australia as support for Metallica’s upcoming M72 tour, thrash metal greats Suicidal Tendencies have announced they are embarking on their own run of headline shows while in the country.
Sadly for Adelaide fans, the dynamic five-piece won’t be playing a headline gig in the City of Churches, meaning fans will have to grab a ticket to see Metallica or travel interstate to catch them in the flesh.
The tour reveal comes a couple of months are Suicidal Tendencies released their first new single in seven years, ‘Adrenaline Addict’. The track is also the band’s first release with former Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg and features the vocal talents of Australia’s Nisha Star.
In between supporting Metallica, you can catch Suicidal Tendencies performing at Perth’s Magent House on Friday 31 October, Melbourne’s The Forum on Friday 7 November, Frankston’s Pier Bandroom on Sunday 9 November, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Tuesday 11 November and Sydney’s The Roundhouse on Friday 14 November.
Tickets for all shows go on sale on Thusday 17 July at 9:30am local time via suicidaltendenciesofficial.com.
Joining Suicidal Tendencies on tour are Big Noter, Briggs’ new hardcore project, who recently supported Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello in Australia and Amyl & The Sniffers on their just completed European tour.
