When veteran New York hardcore act Stray From the Path announced they were splitting up earlier this year after the release of their latest album, Clockworked, it caused a few tears to be shed by Aussie fans fearing they would never get the chance to see them perform again.
Well, we bring you good news today, with Stray From the Path revealing they are embarking on one final run of shows across the globe, including an Aussie swansong this August.
The lads' final ever Australian tour will see them supported by Nashville metalcore act Orthodox, marking their debut visit Down Under, and local modern metal ragers Diamond Construct, who will perform all dates bar WA.
Stray From the Path’s final Australian tour begins at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday 15 August and continues with dates at Sydney’s Manning Bar on Saturday 16 August, Newcastle’s King St Bandroom on Sunday 17 August, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Wednesday 20 August and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Thursday 21 August, before a final blowout at Perth’s Magent House on Friday 22 August.
Keen fans can sign up for the pre-sale, which commences Tuesday 24 June at 10:30am local time, or wait for the general public on-sale beginning Wednesday 25 June at 10:30am local time. For full ticketing details, visit destroyalllines.com.

Stray From the Path have been leaders of the NY hardcore scene for more than two decades. In that time the awesome foursome of lead guitarist Thomas Williams, vocalist Andrew “Drew York” Dijorio, bassist Anthony “Dragon Neck” Altamura and drummer Craig “Cowboy Crag” Reynolds have released over ten studio albums, with Kerrang! writing their latest, this year’s Clockworked, finds “new levels of unease and outrage.”
Having first visited our shores in 2013, Stray From the Path have been regular visitors and toured alongside the likes of Architects, The Ghost Inside, Every Time I Die, Comeback Kid, In Hearts Wake and Northlane.
Speaking about their break-up via a statement posted to social media, the band wrote: “This is a mutual decision, there’s no bad blood, we love each other and we love you all. In the next couple weeks, we will be announcing our final tour dates, and after 2025 we will be putting the band to rest. Looking forward to celebrating the band one last time together for the rest of this year.”
