SoundSurge returns in 2026 with a monster lineup of alt-metal acts taking over The Woodshed on Saturday 10 January.
After the success of the inaugural SoundSurge earlier this year, organisers behind the event have done their best to up the ante with an impressive lineup of riff lords, including an appearance from Melbourne’s melodic rockers Outer Worlds.
“Soundsurge 26 is about community and creativity — giving artists the space, sound, and crowd they deserve. It’s a celebration of original live music in South Australia,” organisers shared in a press release.
Headlined by heavy groovers Emergency Rule and alt-rock outfit MACEY, punters can catch sets from punk rockers Electric Sex Pants, genre-bending heavyweights Abolished, the aforementioned Outer Worlds, heavy alternative quartet Terra Axis, power trio Feed the Fire and punk rocker Jonny Amoral.
Rounding out the bill are alt-grunge-psych-heavy-rock Ghosts of Black Mountain, grunge-inspired rockers Mount Void and metal and blues group Neoeric.
Doors open at 12pm, with the first band kicking things off at 12:30pm. Early bird tickets are on sale now for just $ 33.70 + bf, which is a great bargain! There are also ticket bundles available, which come with an exclusive SoundSurge t-shirt for $75.50 + bf.
Expect a day of incredible live music, drink specials and awesome vibes.
