Aussie hip hop great Seth Sentry is embarking on a massive national tour from September to November to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his seminal sophomore album, Strange New Past.
Released in 2015, the record peaked at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart and won the ARIA Award for Best Urban Album. Strange New Past spawned the singles ‘Run’, ‘Hell Boy’, ‘Dumb’, ‘Fake Champagne’ and ‘1969’ and received high praise from critics.
Taking to the Gram to announce the tour, Sentry told fans to “Expect your faves from Strange New Past, some deep cuts, a stack of Super Cool Tree House, plus a few surprises.”
The monster 23-date tour takes in seven states and territories, kicking off at The River in Margaret River on Thursday 18 September. Sentry then takes in dates in capital cities and regional towns across the country, including Perth, Albury, Kings Beach, Newcastle, Wollongong, Townsville and more, before bringing the anniversary tour to a close at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 28 November.
Horrorshow will join Sentry on all but the final six dates of the tour, with presale beginning on Monday 4 August at 10am AEST and general onsale taking place on Tuesday 5 August at 10am AEST. For ticketing information, visit sethsentry.com.

The first Australian rapper to perform on a US talk show (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Seth Sentry has been at the forefront of the Oz hip hop scene for over two decades.
Making a name for himself in Melbourne’s battle rap scene, it was his appearance on Pez’s 2008 track ‘The Light’ that first brought him to the attention of rap fans across the country. Then his single, ‘The Waitress Song’, became a surprise hit on triple j, leading to the release of his five-track debut EP, The Waiter Minute.
Sentry’s debut album, This Was Tomorrow, arrived in 2012 and was followed three years later by the award-winning Strange New Past and 2021’s Super Cool Tree House.
The past couple of years have seen Sentry touring extensively, with his upcoming anniversary shows not to be missed.
