Officially dropping on Friday 15 August, ‘Ways To Fall’ is a lush folk dream that includes Tom Kneebone on backing vocals and guitar, Dylan Paul on upright bass and Tom Boehm on violin.
John’s first release since his 2023 debut album, Goodness Gracious Graceless, ‘Ways To Fall’ ushers in a new chapter for the singer-songwriter and showcases his contemplative look at the world.
Inspired by the likes of Gillian Welch, Milk Carton Kids and Paul Simon, ‘Ways To Fall’ was self-recorded and mixed by John, with the track recorded live to capture the magic of the studio.
Excited to share ‘Ways To Fall’ with local music lovers, John is launching the single at The Wheatsheaf alongside new act Tin Town. A collaboration between seasoned Australian artists Courtney Robb and Snooks La Vie, the wife-and-husband duo merge folk melodies with honest stories, having released two singles – ‘Things I Got From You’ and ‘Samson’.
