‘say something’ is the third single taken from Royel Otis’ upcoming sophomore album, hickey.
Premiering on The Zane Lowe Show, the driving indie shiner is out now via OURNESS/Capitol Records.
Co-written by Royel Otis (the duo of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic) alongside Billy Walsh (Post Malone, The Weeknd) and producer Omer Fedi (Lil Nas X, The Kid LAROI), the catchy pop wonder ticks all the boxes, with the band saying, “This is a song about unspoken words.”
‘say something’ arrives off the back of previously released single ‘car’ and ‘moody’, with all three tracks taken from hickey, which arrives Friday 22 August.

Peaking at #10 on the ARIA Album Chart, the album was universally praised and earned the band a couple of ARIA Awards.
Royel Otis have been touring been performing at the world’s biggest festivals this year, including New York’s Governor’s Ball, Chicago’s Lollapalooza and San Francisco’s Outside Lands. The lads also played two homecoming shows at Melbourne’s Punter’s Club and Sydney’s Vic on the Park, performing tracks from their new album as well as fan favourites.
