Returning Down Under this October on his The All Night Days Tour, German-born American musician Rob Thomas has announced an awesome lineup of local support acts who will share the stage with him at each show.
“I’ve always felt so supported by Australian audiences, and I love being able to give that support back to emerging and established artists here,” Thomas said in a statement. “Each of these acts brings something special to the stage, and I can’t wait for fans to see them. Be sure to arrive at the shows early and check out this amazing talent.”
Singer-songwriter Siobhan Cotchin, who also played with Matchbox Twenty on their last Aussie tour, is the support for Thomas at his two Perth shows at Riverside Theatre on Thursday 24 October 24 and Friday 25 October.
SA rock outfit Pureé have scored the support slot for Thomas’ Adelaide visit at AEC Theatre on Sunday 27 October, with rising indie pop star Shannen James sharing the stage with Thomas at his three sold-out Melbourne shows at The Forum on Tuesday 29 October, Wednesday 30 October and Thursday 31 October.
Thomas then has three gigs lined up at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Monday 3 November (sold out), Monday 4 November and Tuesday 5 November alongside ARIA Award-winning country star Fanny Lumsden, before ending the tour in Brisbane at Sandstone Point Hotel with Boy & Bear, Eskimo Joe, Little Quirks and Sara Berki.

“Aussie fans have always been incredible to me,” Thomas said. “I can’t wait to come back and share these songs—old and new—on what’s going to be a very special run of shows across one of my favourite places in the world.”
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing Rob Thomas back to Australia for this incredible run of shows,” said Christo Van Egmond, Managing Director of TEG Van Egmond.
“To see an artist of his calibre in intimate theatre settings is a rare treat, and the Brisbane outdoor show is shaping up to be something truly special — especially with the addition of such iconic Australian acts Boy & Bear, Eskimo Joe, Little Quirks and Sarah Berki as special guests. It’s going to be a memorable experience for fans around the country.”
Fans can expect a career-defining setlist featuring tracks from his new album, All Night Days, his biggest solo hits, including ‘Lonely No More’, ‘This Is How A Heart Breaks’, ‘Her Diamonds’, ‘Street Corner Symphony’, as well as Matchbox Twenty favourites like ‘3AM’, ‘Push’, ‘How Far We’ve Come’ and ‘Unwell’.
