Hitting the road together for the very first time, Reliqa and Future Static have announced their biggest run of Aussie headline shows to date.
Sydney’s prog metalcore giants Reliqa are still riding high after the release of their 2024 album, Secrets of the Future, while Melbourne’s Future Static have spent the past couple of years touring extensively across the country, gaining a legion of new fans.
Both bands are at the top of their game and their upcoming co-headline tour is a fantastic demonstration of how dynamic Australia’s heavy music scene is.
The tour gets underway with shows at Solbar on the Sunshine Coast on Friday 10 October and Vinnie’s Dive on the Gold Coast on Saturday 11 October and continues with dates at Tamworth’s The Press on Sunday 12 October, Newcastle’s Hamilton Street Hotel on Thursday 16 October, Wamberal’s Ocean View on Friday 17 October, Wollongong’s La La La’s on Saturday 18 October and Canberra’s Abyss Bar on Sunday 19 October.
The final three dates of the tour take in Frankston’s Pelly Bar on Thursday 23 October, Ballarat’s Volta on Friday 24 October and Adelaide’s Jive on Saturday 25 October.
Supporting Reliqa and Future Static on all dates are heavy meets alternative act Heartlie.

Progressive metalcore beasts Reliqa have been the talk of the town since the release of their 2022 EP, I Don’t Know What I Am. Signing with Nuclear Blast and Greyscale Records in 2023, the band dropped their hotly anticipated debut album, Secrets of the Future, a year later, and soon found themselves sharing the stage with the likes of Spiritbox, Babymetal, Halestorm and Silent Planet.
Melbourne’s Future Static weave alt-rock and prog metalcore through their unique sound, with their 2023 debut album, Liminality, topping the Australian AIR Independent Album charts. Just like their tour mates Reliqa, Future Static have also performed alongside some of the world’s biggest metal acts, including Jinjer, Enter Shikari, Atreyu and Memphis May Fire.
The chance to see both these bands on the same night in the same venue is one not to be missed for Aussie heavy music fans.
