Port Noarlunga Blues Festival returns in 2024 with an awesome lineup of incredible talent celebrating blues and roots music. South Australia’s largest blues festival is held throughout Port Noarlunga across three days from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1.
Now in its seventh year, the festival features both ticketed and free events, with local venues, including cafes, bars and restaurants, transforming into live music locales over the three days.
The 2024 edition is headlined by the lively Frank Sultana and the Honey Badgers, rising star Charlie Bedford and award-winning artist Julian James. This ticketed event features the three talented acts performing an epic concert at Arts Centre Port Noarlunga on the festival’s opening night.
Other highlights include Rick Melick (performing the History of the Blues), The Hawkins Band and Don't Tell Joe rocking out at Port Noarlunga Surf Life Saving Club, Hoy Hoy! and the Chris Finnen Band performing a mix of originals and blues classics at Port Noarlunga Soldiers' Memorial Bowling Club and The Night Owls featuring Oscar LaDell, Dirty Lowdown and Charlie Bedford getting down and dirty on the final night of the festival.
When it comes to the free events there is no lack of talent strutting their stuff, with troubadour Joshua Batten, blues rock collective HeartStorm, multi-instrumentalist Steve Gower and The Red Earth Blues Band just some of the fantastic musos involved.
All ticketed events are available for purchase via the Port Noarlunga Blues Festival website.
