Indie folk duo Pierce Brothers are kicking off 2025 with a massive Australian tour to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their 2014 EP, The Night Tree.
The EP was a major milestone in the careers of twin brothers Jack and Patrick Pierce, transforming them from unknown Melbourne buskers to international superstars.
To show how much they appreciate the fans who supported the release of The Night Tree, the brothers have announced a massive four-month tour that includes both headline shows and festival appearances, with Pierce Brothers taking the stage at Waterfront Festival, Riverboats Music Festival and the final Bluesfest Byron Bay Festival.
Pierce Brothers The Night Tree 10 year anniversary tour starts with a lowkey gig at Longley International Hotel in Longley on Sunday, January 5, before the lads take off across the country performing in towns including Castlemaine, Belgrave, Ravenswood, Glengarry, Sydney and little old Adelaide. The folk act’s final shows come at Bluesfest Byron Bay on Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18.
Tickets for all shows are available now via piercebrothers.com.

Along with hitting the road in celebration of The Night Tree, Pierce Brothers are releasing a remastered version of the EP on vinyl. The release also includes a bonus vinyl featuring live recordings of each track, recorded and filmed at the duo’s own Wattle Studios.
“Re-recording live versions of this EP, and finally getting a new studio version of ‘Flying Home’ out into the world was so much fun!” says Jack, “We came back to these songs so quickly, after not playing some of them in a decade, and we realised how much fun they were to play! This tour is going to be all time!”
Reaching the #7 spot on the Alt iTunes chart and #33 on the overall iTunes chart, The Night Tree also spawned the hit single ‘Genevieve’, which has become a fan favourite.
Jack continues: “This was an EP that really put us on the map, both in Europe and Australia. We never released it on vinyl, so it’ll be great to finally have it the way we always wanted it! We recorded a live B-Side to the vinyl as well live at our home studio and will be releasing the live tapes from it as well! And we re-recorded an old crowd favourite ‘Flying Home’ and added it as a bonus track! This is because we always felt like we never really nailed it in those old recordings so wanted to get a nicer version out there.
“This will be really fun tour throughout the summer, before taking a good deal of time off! We’ve been going hard for a while now, so I think it’s almost time!”
